Africa Bike Week is set to take place in Margate, South Africa from 26th – 30th April 2012 and is not to be missed. The event is set to attract more than 20 000 Harley-Davidson® motorcycle riders and 150 000 visitors from all over the world. Entry to this event is free and no bookings are required.
All bike riders welcome
The event is open to all bikers in search of a South African adventure. The fun is not limited to Harley-Davidson® riders. Participants arriving in Margate can look forward to a jam-packed line-up of happenings including traders markets and live entertainment for the whole family.
The programme features live bands, non-stop street parties, VIP lounges and bars, a ride-in bike show and culminates in a mass ride out which will include a Parade of Flags. Event and H.O.G.® merchandise will also be on sale. At Africa Bike Week™ people of all ages can get up close and personal with Harley-Davidson® motorcycles. The rally provides an opportunity for H.O.G.® members to meet and interact with riders and other H.O.G.® members from all over the world.

The 2012 Africa Bike Week™ event culminates in a mass ride From Shelly Centre to Margate on Sunday morning. The parade is an event highlight where spectators can experience the sound and spectacle of thousands of bikes descending on winding through the streets in and around Margate.
Join a tour!
In the days leading up to Africa Bike Week™ , riders will depart from H.O.G.® Chapters and other H-D clubs in all provinces and even from neighbouring countries. Riders have the option of touring directly to Margate or joining other riders en route to the event. Family members or friends wishing to take part but who prefer to meet at the destination can make their way to to Margate by car or fly to Durban Airport to travel on to Margate.
